Ray Holcomb

With nearly 30 years of experience in the field of counterterrorism, Ray Holcomb participated in counterterrorism capability assessments for numerous major U.S. and international urban centers in coordination with FEMA, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the U.S. Department of State. He has studied worldwide terrorist trends, domestic self-radicalization, developments in counterterrorism law and policies, and taught the subject of terrorism on a collegiate level.  Holcomb, also a FBI veteran, served in many capacities during his 23-year career including investigator for a number of domestic and overseas terrorist incidents, more specifically terrorist attacks on the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Cole in Yemen, and the Marriott Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia.
